Covey’s 7-Habits of Highly Effective People – Part I of IV (Principles & Habit 1) From the best-selling book by Dr. Stephen Covey, this powerful workshop introduces profound principles that lay the foundation for effective communication and integrity-based leadership. The first module focuses on tapping into one’s leadership potential by becoming more aware of our paradigms, and being proactive rather than reactive. Discussions will reflect the organization’s mission and guide participants toward aligning their actions with the company’s values and goals.
Covey’s 7-Habits of Highly Effective People – Part II of IV (Habits 2 and 3) Part II focuses on enhancing leadership effectiveness by beginning with the end in mind, and putting “first things” first. Traditional time management has suggested that working harder, smarter, and faster will help you gain control over your life. However, in this precedent setting program, rather than focus on time and things, Habits 2 and 3 emphasize priorities, relationships, and results. Rather than efficiency, the focus is effectiveness. Participants will learn how to identify their various roles and top priorities in their work and personal life, and take control of their scheduling to act on top priorities first and gain greater balance in their life.
Covey’s 7-Habits of Highly Effective People – Part III of IV (Habits 4 and 5) Part III expands the leadership development journey by highlighting the development of interdependent, rather than dependent or competitive relationships, leading toward improved teamwork, morale and productivity. Key habits include "think win- win” in problem-solving, and "seek first to understand… then be understood" for improved communication.
Covey’s 7-Habits of Highly Effective People – Part IV (Habits 6 and 7) Participants will experience the value of working and thinking “out of the box” as they gain a better understanding of synergy. Through creative cooperation and valuing differences, a team and organization will gain the competitive edge. To maintain our forward momentum and production capability, the workshop will also address the importance of the final habit, Habit 7--“Sharpen the Saw”.
